How can fashion be more sustainable.

Sustainable fashion is on the rise, and for good reason.
It may come as a surprise to some that the fashion industry accounts for 10% of humanity’s carbon footprint, or that it’s the third most polluting industry in the world, behind energy and transport respectively.
There are many reasons behind this, namely, a constant demand for clothing, given that everyone living in modern societies must be clothed.
What’s more, clothing companies are often multinational corporations operating in multiple countries to take advantage of less stringent employment laws, tending to result in sweatshops in third world countries.
To combat this undesirable outcome, in recent years there’s been a shift towards sustainable fashion, with more and more people buying second hand, selling their clothes to thrift stores, buying less, and buying from businesses committed to sustainable fashion, such as ourselves.
